PF Engineers provides technical due diligence on transmission projects

• General - Transmission is the act of moving electrons from point A to point B. Transmission projects can be challenging due to the topography of the land, environmental issues, and public perception.
• Experience - We generally perform a high level review of transmission requirements on all power generation projects. However, we have also looked at more detailed environmental requirements for transmission projects and the land control for these projects. Additionally, we have reviewed multiple subsea cable projects utilizing high voltage direct current (HVDC) cableing.
• Common Issues - Land control, environmental permitting, public perception (Not in my backyard (NIMBY))
• Risk Mitigants - Obtain the land control prior to financing.
