PF Engineers provides technical due diligence on RNG projects

• General - Rewewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects continue to expand and improve. The technology utilized to clean of the various biogasses (i.e. landfill gas, digester gas, etc.) is improving and reducing the technical risk to provide pipeline quality RNG.
• Experience - We have reviewed multiple RNG projects and portfolios including landfill gas, dairy digesters, wastewater treatment digesters, food waste digesters, etc. We have reviewed standard PSA/TSA technologies as well as membrane sytems to remove gas impurities.
• Common Issues - The top issue is biogas production. The second issue is the management of the gas constituents.
• Risk Mitigants - Review the gas production estimates and provide the appropriate sentivities analysis on the biogas supply.
