PF Engineers can provide technical due diligence on SMR projects

• General - Nuclear facilities provide the baseload technology to support renewables. With improved technologies, nuclear projects are safer than ever and the waste risk is reduced.
• Experience - Through our turbine controls experience, we have worked on numerous nuclear facilities. Additionally, now we are working with the concept of converting retiring coal facilities to be replaced with Small Modular Reators (SMR).
• Role - We can help with the technical evaluation of the application of an SMR and the construction requirements to support these projects. Unfortunately, these projects are generally long term projects, so we are expecting that SMR projects will be limited for the next 10 years.
